Why We Started IsraValley
I have been organizing Shabbat dinners and community gatherings for Israeli and Jewish founders for years. It was always something I loved doing - bringing people together, making sure no one felt alone in a new city, and creating the kind of warm, close-knit environment that reminds us of home.
But everything changed after I posted something online and received a massive wave of antisemitic backlash.
The hate I received was eye-opening. It made me realize that our community here in the Bay needs to be much stronger. We can not just be a loose group of people who happen to know each other - we need a real, tight community that supports one another, lifts each other up, and helps us all achieve greatness together.
That is why IsraValley exists. Not just as a social group, but as a foundation for Israeli and Jewish founders to thrive in Silicon Valley. We connect people to the ecosystem, to opportunities, and most importantly, to each other.
If this resonates with you - come by and say hey.
